by our god Dostoyevskij?
I read it some 10-15 year ago, still think of episodes from it.

Yes it's quite beautiful. I find the contrast between the contemplative nature of this book and the description of Dostoevsky as an insane ranting shitposter in that Polish political prisoner's memoir hilarious.
