I went to a private, prestigious middle school. Girl in my grade was very smart, had an older brother 2 years ahead of us. School went through 8th grade; it involved small, 60 person grades, so everyone knew each other and circulated year books at the end of each year for signatures, etc.
Anyway, when the older brother graduated from 8th grade, his sister circulated his yearbook, and i remember his “senior page” being full of images of space and mars.
At the top of the page was the quote: “The road to mars is paved with good intentions.”
Motherfucker is currently one of the lead directors at NASA working on the mars mission.

I tear up just thinking about that. He knew by 8th grade; he knew and did it. The fucker. Love him.

It's not, that nothing matters, to the individual. It's that nothing matters to the universe. Animal cannibalism, pedos, incest, all part of God's plan or all allowed under the rules of the universe.


Meaning is a human construction. God would be outside the constraints of meaning. Otherwise the universe would all be headed to some purpose. But in the end, even universes die.

If it was God's will that men should not murder, murder would be impossible.
