Pessimism isn't freedom. Pessimism is weakness. Anyone can see the bad things in life, because t's the easiest option, requiring the least amount of effort and trouble. Conversely, to see the good requires willpower and discipline. But when you are able to see goodness, the beauty of life and all the things it encompasses shine through and can be used as motivation to give your life purpose and meaning.
