why are redditors and sois so obsessed with "biblically accurate angels?" It's all over the internet recently. Any books about this? Is it part of a longing for religion and the supernatural or something?

Ironically, biblically accurate angels aren't biblically accurate at all.
They're probably way stranger than the projection of "strangeness" of the human conception. It's not something to be concretely engraven.
This was why the second amendment was a thing, to avoid human flaws from manifesting and corrupting the vision of God.
