Why do I hate doing what I love so much.

Why do I hate doing what I love so much.

It's because you're not accepting of what you truly want in this moment, you cling on to the idea of loving writing. Just let go, don't write, it will come back sooner or later, like cats

You don't love it

My trouble is finding the energy and time to sit in front of the computer and word processor. If I get there I can write freely for an hour or so, I just so often don't even get there.

Its so frustrating
a couple of weeks ago I was churning pages and now its dry, completely dry.
last time it took years to come back, I'd rather not have that happen again
but I guess I cant force it

Happens to me all the time dude, But no matter how many times I give up writing I always find myself coming back

just let go don’t write,
sooner or later it comes,
back just like a cat

It’s like some kind of comfy motivational haiku

Meditate, clear your mind and state some mantras. Think of what you really love and think your consciousness is about. Reflect on your life, your experiences your problems/solutions.

Write about what you know and are deeply passionate about. Write what makes you feel.

My favourite creative exercise for example is I would sit at a Cafe window and just watch people and traffic go by and I would take 3 things I saw and mash them together as fast as possible over and over again hopefully trying to get them to make sense.

Like Soft Blue bicycle or Water Wire Dart or Red Bow Vision.

You can take anything you see either literally or abstract, nouns or adjectives and just mash them together as quickly as possible trying to make something sensible or funny.

Its amazing how much inspiration you can get from your static environment but having a movie one is even better because its like trying to identify and abstracting queues from completely random inputs.

I just came up with this intuitively but I think it trains your brain to be creative or to spontaneously come up with ideas.

Every single writer with any notable volume of output was flying on speed, maybe pick up an adderall prescription and see where that gets you

You guys can not just sit and write?
I do understand having trouble with what words to use. Sometimes I sit and think of what word to use of how many words to use to make it "perfect",
but can you not just sit and write?

oh and this,
sometimes if you do not feel like it leave,
leave for a month if needed
I did not do any reading or writing in 2 months then when I was going to the city dump to remove some building leftovers and grass and plants residue I saw houses with shit on the roofs and got an idea to write
Just leave

yeah I think thats a big part of the problem

I really need to train myself to write in longer chunks and then edit instead of making each paragraph sound just right

it even happens to me with paper
