>Gillian Flynn, Dark Places
It's perhaps not a "true" horror novel, but it's pretty fn dark, and does cross the line into horror at several points. Really well-done, entertaining af. Great voice actors (yes, it has a couple of voices). Just terrific.

>The Exorcist
Wm. Peter Blatty does a superb job of reading his own book. He delivers the Platonic ideal rendition -- all the different voices and accents. Top-notch.

But if you're the same guy who asked for horror audio books a week or two ago, you already know that, or at least you know my position on the subject. ;-)
