The more books I read the more I realize I don't know shit. I don't know which metaphysical belief I adhere to, I don't know which political belief I adhere to, I don't know which Ethical belief I adhere to. I just don't know, what the fuck? Most things seem to have good arguments and counterarguments but also flaws.

You are in a better position than most people on this board.

Good, it takes years to understand many subjects and those saying otherwise are wrong and childish. A great quantity of people never learn anything because they believe they’re already full of knowledge.

Here's a "metaphysical belief" that binds together all "metaphysical beliefs" ever:

241. There's always a single concept to be found at the bottom of every philosopher's philosophy. With Heraclitus it's flux, with Schopenhauer will, with Stirner the ego, with Kierkegaard faith, with Nietzsche power, while with Baudrillard it's seduction and with me immersion. But what is the quest for power if not the way in which the immersed ego maximizes its influence in the flux by having faith in itself while following its seduced will? And I could easily add Plato's forms, Spinoza's Nature, Hegel's spirit, and all the rest. Hell, even Wittgenstein's silence (via way, perhaps, of Shakespeare) will have a place in my elaboration of the ultimate form of thinking by the time I am done. My masterstroke will be the inclusion of even all the abortive half-concepts and pseudo-concepts floating around in the swamp of the subhuman brain — they too will have a place in the grand scheme of things (though as befits the ideas of small, tiny creatures, theirs will naturally be a very small, very tiny place) — and all the rest, beyond that point, will be silence.

From http://orgyofthewill.net/

I think that's the best place to start in order to grasp everything, assuming you do indeed want to grasp everything, which almost no one wants despite what they say.

>with Stirner the ego
Shit reading of Stirner, the ego is not the unique which is just an empty name as he himself says in Stirner's critics
>Nietzsche power
Shit reading of Nietzsche, the will to power is not the same as power itself
Why should I read this trash if they can't get even these two right?

>Nietzsche power
Ehhhh, when Nietzsche says Power he doesn't mean Power, a more apt term would be Sublimation. I don't really think I Should check this guy out.

Many ethical, metaphysical, or political believes people hold are identity-affirming or performative. That's of course why people settle on them almost arbitrarily and bicker endlessly about them to this day. Don't preoccupy yourself with it too much, there is very little to be gained by being opinionated.

Before I read much I was a materialist STEMfag who thought philosophy was dead and religion was for idiots. After reading more I've become an idealist (in the metaphysical sense) and epistemological anarchist.

Are you me?

But what is epistemological anarchism and how does it relate to idealism?

Why don’t you just sit down with yourself and ask yourself how you feel and what do you believe about a variety of topics and allow your own intellect tell you how you feel?

I'm in the same boat. I think this is natural - we've gone past the point which I don't think everyone is able to go past, so we should keep going. It won't be easy, but we shouldn't lose motivation.
