you're at a way past age to acquire language. You're at the age of mostly learning language.

>Spada - How Lanugages are Learned

But you're asking for language learning/teaching methodology, in that case
>Techniques and Principles in Language Teaching by Larsen-Freeman
A more moring (i.e. academic) book on the same topi is:
> Approaches and Methods in Language Teaching by J.C. Richards

But what you need is (assuming you're an average litizen) is
>Learning Teaching by J. Scrivener (implement the same methods for any langauge)

and for non-practical (i.e. academic) study of the topic, you can check these out:
>Doughty, J., & Long M. A. - The handbook of second language acquisition
>Gass, S. M., Behney, J., Plonsky, L., & Selinker, L - Second language acquisition: An introductory course
>Mitchell, R., Myles, F. , & Marsden, E. - Second language learning theories
