Very little. Not that it matters. The main problem is: fantasy is popular and sells very well, but the bulk of its famous authors are people unable to reconcile decent to good ideas with a conscious effort to make their writing style worth reading. They want imaginative worldbuilding, stylish character, tight plots, and do this sometimes to very well, but they fail to recognize that good writing is the only way to take to a higher, deeper level is through good prose. The insanely long volumes they shit out is a bandaid for this problem.
