The Name of the Wind is an awful, awful, awful, awful, awful, awful novel. It's the least fantastic fantasy I've ever read. There is nothing of interest n their. It's author is an actual cuck, who's spend the last four years disrespecting his "fans" by going full TDS and doing nothing but obsessing over the President. It's truly sad and pathetic, but what is sadder and more pathetic is how this crap could be published, or why anyone would like it. Bonus points: read Rothfuss' introduction to The Sandman.

Any good barbarian fiction recommendations? I quite liked Kane, by Karl Wagner, although he was only nominally a barbarian.
