Consider the following;

1. The question never implies anything about the gender of the hidden child. It simply reveals that one child is a girl.

2. One child being a girl has no bearing on whether a new child will be a girl. EVEN IF IT'S A TWIN.

3. Even if we are to assume the question is implying the other child is a boy. It would still be a 1 in 2 chance whether the question is misleading us or is being honest with its implications.
