From a leninist perspective it is completely rational for a socialist state to enforce state capitalism and take it to its logical conclusion as imperialism. After all, the all stages of capitalism have to first play out before a transition to world communism becomes feasible.

Well, it should be if it were to follow reason. If it's not, it's not socialist.

Nah, it's one of the biggest causes of brainrot in tankies.
>When a commie state invades a country it's not imperialism, even when it has genocide and the replacement of one populace with another
Extra amusing when it's about practically fascist/capitalist states like modern China.

>To ask the question “what is it that two or more discriminable beings or things or situations might share?” is really to ask “at what levels of analysis might two or more things be considered the same? – and at what levels different?” It is the particulars of our individuality – our specific time and place – that differentiate us from one another. What unites us is the fact of those particulars, however – the fact that we each have a specific time and place – and the implications of that fact for the nature of our existence. Our lives are open to possibility, but remain eternally bounded by disease, death, and subjugation to social structure. As mutable, limited, social beings, we are all engaged in a massive, cooperative and competitive endeavor.

I've had this argument with tankies before. They believe that imperialism is, by definition, when capitalists exploit another country. That means a communist country can do whatever it wants to another country but it can't be imperialism because they're not capitalist. It doesn't matter how much you argue, your dictionary definition of the word is different from theirs.
It's really Orwellian because they know the term "imperialism" has a negative connotation, so they change the definition of the word to suit their needs
