I like to listen to non /lit/ books through audio during walks and stuff. Books like Shogun, World War Z, Lonesome Dove, Red Rising.

I feel similarly to this guy >>16619875 I only listen to audiobooks of pulpy stuff while I do other things, if I want to really appreciate a book I’d need to read it.

My favourite is “The Draco Tavern” they’re cool connected sci-fi stories, I like them because there are lots of varied aliens.

Nice, Ive actually read the first two books in that series. I'm hesitant though because I've never really been satisfied with Stephen King.

I was actually really sad when Frank stopped on book 4 due to a motorcycle accident. I didn't even want to finish the series, the new guy was okay end the end but immediately after the switch I found it almost painful to listen to to the new "voices"

There's a series of platonic dialogues on audible that have different voice actors for the characters and they are fucking great for comprehension.

The Book of Disquiet is phenomenal

The Devil Rides Out, narrated by Christopher Lee. It's not a very good book, it's pulpy and scooby-doo like but entertaining, but listening to Lee narrate it really elevates it.

I've only listened to a few. Pablo Schreiber's narration of American Psycho was amusing. Nothing fancy. I usually just read. If I'm gonna listen to something while multitasking, it's just music or podcasts.
