It's not really what I was hoping for but I was probably going to ready eventually anyway. How does it compare to Aurelius' Meditations or Seneca's Letters?

Doesn't strike me as interesting 2bh. Any text in particular that made you suggest him?

I'm too much of a brainlet to know what to say

So, if I understood correctly, philosophy is divided into continental and analytical. And philosophy of mind falls under analytical philosophy. Since op was like an overview of continental philosophy, I thought it would be nice to read something from the analytical branch next. Thinking of reading pic related since it says it's for beginners. Is it a good place to start?

I find nonfiction easier to read, but I do have some novels on my reading list

I agree, but it sounds like you need to take a break from the barrage of nonfiction and seep your toes into the refreshing waters of a novel. Where the jazz is smooth and the stars never set. Forget the mind, forget philosophers, forget Seneca, forget duality, forget all those vapid triflings of a demystified existence, man. I may just be projecting but GOD I could go for fiction right now. Even Heller or Joyce. It doesn't necessarily need to be "passive fictions" like Hemingway or Dickens. You know what would hit the spot anon? Some Twain. OOOOOWEEE anon, fuck Socrates, lets go floatin'.
