Maybe GPT-20. These programs require prompts, which means they cannot create fundamentally new ideas. They need someone to give them something to run with. That is more restrictive than you might at first think.

There's no way of knowing if this is correct. It's information is also pulled from the internet. You could literally read the criticisms and wikipedia articles the AI copy and pasted this shit from.

sure, it uses a dataset of writing which is not its own, but what you see there is original writing which was synthesized by the AI alone

The body without organs does not come from Deleuze. Those guys appropriated it from some schizo writer. First sentence and this has no value.

The bot seems to be explaining two random other things from the book and then trying to bring them together only to then say it still doesn't explain things. Very bizarre. I could see how a person might believe a person wrote this, but I cannot see anyone familiar with the source material being fooled.

You don't understand genre fiction.

Yes, they will be able to create AI JJ Abrams scripts.

No, they wouldn't be able to create *good* genre fiction.

No AI will write The Maltese Falcon, Valdez is Coming, The Friends of Eddie Coyle, or Lost Light.

Although AI may be able to create AI *versions* of those books, that's not the same thing as creating *good* genre fiction.
