I'm not sure why, but I find myself focusing way more on a book when I'm listening to the audiobook version while reading the physical copy.
Is there anyone else like this or have I reached a new level of autism?

sounds more like a kind of savvy laziness rather than autism.

If I were lazy, would I bother reading books to begin with? I have read several books on their own, but find myself more engaged while listening when reading a book.

there's at least a few anons here who have done the same and said decent things about the experience; its lazier than reading without but I do it sometimes for various reasons, such as maximum retention or tired eye syndrome
