What did you guys think of all the Russian? I wish they had put the glossary at the BEGINNING of the book. If I didn't know basic Russian I would have been completely lost.

Because the book is meant to be read without a glossary. First two pages were difficult for me but then the rest of the book was a breeze. No familiarity with Russian btw. It’s written in such a way that you can figure out what he’s saying entirely through context clues, even if it’s just a vague idea of what a word means, in which case the proper meaning is revealed more explicitly further into the story.
Also glossaries never go at the front of the book.

I never realized the slang was russian, and yes you pick it up very easily by the midpoint.
