Allah predates existence itself, as well as substance. Pondering the nature of something comepletely outside of rationality is meaningless, a futile attempt to preserve and anthropocentric worldview. The Quran (though it is the truth) has messages most scholars consider to be relevant to people at the time ot was revealed more so than it would be today. What I am saying is, not only is the Quran being co-eternal with Allah inconsistent with Tawhid, it goes against the fact that the Quran changes. What it could mean changes. This isn't ruining some platonic ideal of the true Quran, it's understanding that the Quran is a living, changing part of a living, chaning faith. Not change for better or for worse, just change simple as. A continuation of the motion of causality. This doesn't make it any less absolute.
