Rec me something short and sweet (100-150pp), something I'll have a hard time putting down. Here's some reading I've enjoyed in the past: Catch-22, To the Lighthouse, The Dead (Joyce), Raymond Carver's short stories, A Clockwork Orange.

Cat's Cradle by Vonnegut? It's a little longer than your specifications, but the chapters are hella short.

This would be good, but OP, be a big boy and just google a list of novellas. You already have read books so you have some idea of what you'd like.

I think I'll go for that Brautigan book. It was already on my to-read list and looks somewhat interesting. I hope it isn't too convoluted and postmodern-y.
