Sure! Why not? Playing with these characters and adding the element of race could make for something interesting. Imagine a production of Othello with a White Othello with everyone else being Black. It would be interesting, if only for the novelty. And maybe it'll reveal some deeper facet of the play. The same principle applies here.

That's cool! I've watched Stewart in Macbeth, I'm sure this was a good production as well. My point was that the choice of actor, including conscious choices of race, can add additional depth to a production.
