Because the right has completely lost the culture war in the English speaking world and has been excommunicated from all places of intellectual prestige. "The right" has been reduced to social media lifestyle brands for you to consume. BAP, Ma, the Aryan bodybuilders, the tradcaths, etc. are all selling you e s o t e r i c products. These books are to be sold to an established community, generally built on twitter, and are useless to outsiders. Their value comes from being a compilation of in-jokes and tribal vocabulary being used to produce self-help guides, diets and rituals that help cope with living in a society they believe has degenerated. They also exist as free advertising, as outsiders will inevitably stumble upon these problematic social media spheres and will look for some kind of canonical text to freak out about: see how BAP gains attention every few months from liberals reading BAM and panicking about digital fascism.

This is completely wrong and feeds into nihilism. That the right has become lost and searches out the questions of the left from thirty years ago suggests the falsity of the division to begin with. The right and left are only opposed to the same extent that a law bordering on civil war strengthened city-states in the ancient world. Left and right is a false division, it is of the divided political body and the extent that one falls into its language indicates the ease with which they should be dismissed. The battles over conceptual ownership of someone like Schmitt, for instance, can only happen where any discerning vision for the essential has been lost, and also that some greater law than commodification leads to the fatalistic sense of sameness and inescape.

What the right should have recognised long ago was its catastrophic failure, but such a position requires a character capable of values which are now discarded, without possibility of distinction, as weakness. Each wants to revive the German spirit, but without ever confronting its fate. Bare aesthetics and the triumph of technical thinking allows the right to align completely with the end of values and be satisfied with the individual will which cultivates the personality against history. This is where Nietzsche, or at least nietzscheans, become a barrier, building up a walll against the enemy they so intend to oppose on the surface. A simple inability to recognise that even the highest values can be corrupted, and that the means of corruption cannot always be seen from the simplified distinction of friend and enemy. What matters is character and essence, not the technical or poetic means of approach. Here the simple presents its strength as incorruptible at least at the level of appearances, one of Schmitt's great lessons.

Unfortunately nothing will change without a confrontation with total failure. There will be no return to the simplicity of law, only a cultivation of appearances and the personalised history in which tradition survives as a formality, as the strength of knowledge and perception. This is, of course, why the internet persona takes over, it is not a corruption, only a deepenig and finalisation of the laws of the era.

At another level, where even the defensive elements abandon their posts, the borders become free, inviting infiltration and defeat. This is where one begins to see laws forming at thhe highest level, a subtle recognition that it must all end, and one world welcome its successsion by another. The ability to respond to this will determine the success and character of the new era, and what must first become clear is that the hardened defense of the old world, of the ancien regime which was once divided in its own time, will only fail once more. This is not to say that the questions nor instincts are wrong

The guy is correct that the Right were demolished. The last real Right wing movement was Fascism and it was destroyed completely, and Fascism had actually absorbed quite a bit of democratic ideology. The real battle was lost long before then though, sometime in between Cromwell and the French Revolution. Russia didn't fall until the 20th century of course but Russia is kind of its own thing and wasn't following the same sort of trajectories as the Western European countries.
