I can also appreciate how you don't need too much, setup-wise. For lack of a better term, you just go for it.

As far as stylization, my first thought is maybe play with sentence length. There's definitely a flowing, stream-of-consciousness-but-still-intentional vibe to the writing here. You've got a good feel for stringing ideas together in that way, and I bet you could push it even further to emphasize that "everything happening at once" feeling.

Then maybe a short sentence. Emphasize, or whatever.

I'm not very poetic myself, so I've got nothin' in that department. I guess play with the rabbit motif, there's some potential there.
