sadler discussions are really winding, discussing every paragraph of PoS for 30+ minutes in isolation of the rest of the work fragments it and obfuscates its meaning. and the work is already difficult enough to understand as it is.

every time i try and watch sadler's commentaries to get through a part im stuck on it ends up being counterproductive.

which is sad because you can tell he understands what he is talking about. it would be better if he did hour long lectures on each chapter instead.

I get that Hegel's writing is complicated and often obscure, but there is no possible way that a single philosophical text needs 94 feature length films to explain. you are a million times better off just reading the damn thing yourself. you could read the book several times over, then read a bunch of commentaries, and you'd probably only spend a fraction of the time it would take to watch all of his fucking videos. who watches this crap???
