One dimensional characters is totally a thing. They're grotesque exagerations. Like, when someone is short other adult characters literally pick her up single handed and when a dude is evil his eyes are red. But godtier descriptions are their own reward, and there are astonishingly brilliant setpieces like the rooftop climb or the fight in the dark.
