Cool.

I don't know that I have a favorite book, as what I prefer hinges upon how I feel.

He's a /mu/ troll trying new ground. He already has tapped into how pretentious this godawful self-indulgent hipsterfest is. We don't need more chaos. You're just encouraging him. I'm encouraging him with having to warn you jackasses.

No one on here actually cares if your favourite book is PS, but people react to your assumption of their character. There are only a few actually arrogant and hostile folks here. People talk that way to incite a response.

HP is a good series. There are thousands of reasons any particular book could be your favourite.

I second this. To those that picked Lolita, it was a great book but as far as Nabokov is concerned, I liked Ada better.

Awww shit. Yes.
Although it might get replaced by Zelasky's Lord Of Light, once I get done with it.

My favorite book in the world of all time? Well, if that means something I've read and re-read at different points in life and still enjoyed in different ways each time then pic is related.

Just read Slaughterhouse-Five a few weeks ago and am looking to read another Vonnegut. Should I pick up that or Breakfast of Champions next?

cat's cradle. and i would rec god bless you mr rosewater or sirens of titan before breakfast of champions

You really have to know Vonnegut as an author before reading Breakfast of Champions.

Cat's Cradle is fucking fantastic no matter what you're into, though.
