ofc. Check out Everything Rises that Must Converge, A Good Man Is Hard to Find, and Revelation (the stories, not the books) first. Her novels are relatively mediocre, but her short stories are god-tier.

Keep in mind though that it's relatively narrow in scope--basically, racism in the early 20th-century South.
