Fuck books. Get an e-reader, you luddites.

>> No.16418624

Books are nicer to take notes and I like the feel, I own an e-reader to read less complex works and romances. I buy physical copies of books I really enjoy, like with music. Just let me enjoy things OP.

I still haven't got a good response to why anyone would need a e-reader when you have a smart phone with access to websites like PDFdrive.

I use the e-reader just for books I don't want on my shelf or anybody seeing when I read outside.

e-ink is a different technology. the not consuming power when the image is still means its battery lasts way longer and if you're using the backlight then at worst its like reading a book with a flashlight. as opposed to blasting bright light straight into your retinas. whether or not that is better for your health i have no idea, but it certainly feels better

But i want my future kids and grandchildren to inherit a big book collection.
One of the main reasons why I read a so wide range of books is to be able to help them find their right career paths, and guide them on their way to master it.
One of the main reasons why I began reading was to get a higher education, and make enough money to find a wife with good genes.
Do you think I'm doing this for myself? Do you want me to pick up an e-reader because it's oh so practical?
I don't want to be an Einstein. That's delusional. But in 50 years I can tell you, I became the grandfather to one.
Nice pepe tho.
t. not a burger or anglo, obviously.

I got a bunch of books for my birthday but I haven't read any of them because I'd rather read on my kindle. It remembers what page I'm at, it doesn't need any external light, it's easier to hold.. Books are only better if they have graphics or charts or whatever
