Who is, in your opinion, the greatest personification of Nietzsche's 'Übermensch' ideal? Name some examples from your fields of interest.

For the actual übermensch to come we must first prepare a sustained world that would hold them.

Nikola Tesla
Picasso

I don't necessarily see the Übermensch quality as an ideal, however

By far it's Augustus. Thrust into politics as a teenager, competes and wins against the far more experienced and established Marc Antony, wins several civil wars, and then reorganises the previously small-e Roman empire into a properly imperial state, goes on the die of old age, and his empire survives for more than a millenium after him. The only person who even comes close is Alexander, and he had the groundwork for his conquests laid out by his father and his state immediately fell apart on his death.

Walter White from breaking bad.
The man was essentially the last man: sheep, defeated, passive, without will or passion to live (hence his indifference to his cancer diagnosis).
Upon entering the meth business, initially reluctantly and to provide for his family, he transforms into who he really is -- and apologizes to no one as he fully embraces his true persona (in this case it happened to be "evil" by most out standards). Not only that, and essentially creating his own morals (however brutal), but what resonated most is how he lived more in 2 years than he had in the previous 50 years of his life. What's more is he made a legend of himself, and lived up to his genius -- however twisted it may have been. And as he died in the place he loved the most -- the meth lab -- one could see him feeling no regrets as he died happily and entirely loving his fate, what he had done, and who he had become.

Mmmmm, was just about to enter Alexander into the running for the Mr. Übermensch pagent. Here is my distinction, and one that shall separate Alexander from Augustus, or any other Roman warlord, deistic sycophant, throne-hound, etc.., The Übermensch transcends the natural intuitions and motives of Man. Alexander acted not for King and Country, nor for preservation or the vanities of expansion and repopulation of the self, but he acted with the noblest of all virtues: Enlightenment. Man, the body vis-a-vis with the Universe. To a much smaller scale, mind you, but essentially a widening of the horizon of Man and a breakage of dam of the heavens, allowing the waters of Ocean to spill across the earth.

He did have Caesar's legacy, but I don't think it's possible to achieve anything remotely approaching his accomplishments without some kind of leg up at the start. And there's dozens more counterexamples of people who start out in similar positions and spectacularly fuck it up (Crassus or Heliogabalus come to mind, for instance)
