Has anyone read the new Dickens novel Little Dorrit? I have to say I'm kinda over Dickens and his love for the poor. It is not my fault they are poor and it isn't my responsibility to help them. Now I do give to Church every Sunday because I am a good Christian, but honestly the whole charity thing just never sat well with me. Maybe if they worked harder we wouldn't have to put them in debtors prisons.
