It's pretty clear we have a caste system on here.

1) The elite of good writers who answer the prompts and always add something meaningful to the discussion.

2) The readers, who actually know what they're talking about but can't write themselves. Sometimes they're ESLs, sometimes they just lack talent and education.

3) Then there's the twitter types like Butterfly, who rarely write more than a line and seem to spend most of their time gate-keeping.

4) The great mass of recently redditors, teens, and non-readers who start most of the threads, some of which are surprisingly good.

5) The underclass: barely literate ESLs, inveterate poltards, low IQ liberals, etc.

This is accurate. I'd also say that there are a ton of lurkers (I'm either in 1 or a lurker) that honestly go here because it's the only non-SJW literature forum on the internet. Additionally, no matter the topic, I can generally get an unbelievably good book recommendation for it that I never would've gotten elsewhere (often better than librarians or book sellers).
