i've staved of off King or a while but his newest book doesn't sound that bad, I LOVE time travel oriented medium and this sounds VERY interesting.

Did anyone read Gerald's Game? It was really really great until the idiotic and totally unnecesary last chapters, it's like they wouldn't let him publish it because it was too short and he had to add that pathetic explanation.

one of my friends told me dumas key was the shit.

lit's just full of pretentious faggotry, and thinks every book is supposed to be as magical as that nostalgic encounter they had with fight club back in high school. I stayed off of king for a while because lit couldn't stop bitching about him. I picked up one of his books by happenstance anyway, and have read 5 of them in the past few months because i found out they weren't that bad.

pic related, its the faggots the run lit

King lost his integrity the moment his first book deal went nuclear.

Do yourself a favor, read these four novellas of his back when he knew what it was like to be hungry.

pic related: it's his best work

His early short stories are pretty good too, Skeleton Crew was one of the books that turned me onto reading, but its still good when I go back and read it as an adult.

I mean, Stephen King is no Harlan Ellison, but he's ok.
