I'm fed up with philosophy and reasoning in general. It all comes down to your initial assumptions, arbitrary choices of how you structure your thought. I guess I'm overcome by this postmodern doubt.

I'm still open to knowledge that pertains to subjective truth and can help me navigate in life. But trying to model and define "objective reality" makes me loss all interest, it's just language games, right?

Are there any philosophical writings that deal with this uncertainty? I want to relate to philosophy and writing in a meaningful way again, but I don't think I can go back to my old literal beliefs.

I get what you are saying , you have to ground yourself even if the grounding can be undermined by "rationalism" even in physics "what can we really know" is an issue...but there is an objetive truth there is objetive beauty, literary beauty, mechanical beauty, mathematical beauty...ground yourself in beauty.


I guess you might not even understand what the hell I'm talking about...theres contradictions within philosophy like there is in some biblical passages and even in science but beauty is a really good ground to stand in case of doubt, all of this is grounded in beauty

also realise that we are in a epoch that is literally based on the rejection of beauty, theres no objetive truth theres no objetive beauty, a banana with tape is high art and noise is high music
