never thought about how difficult his name must be to pronounce for a non native speaker. german "J" correspondends well enough with english "Y", the "ger" at the end should be harder, more like "ker", not like the "ger" in "german". can't think of an english word that has a sound resembling the "ü" ... think of "ou" (like in "you") but crank up the pitch.

anyway, great authour, read three of his books this year.
