Ok, so where the FUCK is the rest of the story? Where's the fucking horse? Where's the fucking apple? What the fuck were these assholes doing for the first 9 years of the war? What, no one important died? Nothing important happened? Agamemnon kills his daughter and it's just muh 9 years later?

I had to research the whole apple story and was kind of dissapointed it was so short.

Of the eight books of the Epic Cycle, Homer only composed six. However, he composed 62% of the actual text (I'm assuming "a book", of which the Iliad and the Odyssey are both 24, is the same for all of the different poems). The other six (Cypria, Aethiopis, Little Iliad, Illiou Persis, Nostoi, and Telegony) were apparently not as good as the ones Homer composed, which is why Homer got popular and the other six didn't.

What a pseud. Doesn't know what the Illiad actually covers and took the popularized version to heart.

Those two events take place in other stories in the Epic Cycle. We only know about them because they're referenced by other writers and are mentioned in the Odyssey.
