It's not even banned in my country and I live in a very PC Western democracy. The nazis weren't known for their keen insight, their ideology was mostly cobbled from much older parts, it is only the way they were assembled that was unique, not the parts themselves. And Hitler wasn't even the brain of the Nazi movement.

Most likely you're underread and lack perspective so you confuse recuperated 19th century memes for prophetic declarations. The truth is the fabric of our societies hasn't changed that much in the past 200 years, hence why the 19th century memes keep circulating.

You managed to misread a relatively simple post. But I admit maybe my phrasing could have been confusing or elliptic, so, just in case, I'll rephrase:

So you have a not particularly groundbreaking book, from the leader of a movement that, while revolutionary, wasn't particularly grounded on new ideas. The logical conclusion is that most of Hitler's "predictions" weren't groundbreaking at all and were probably formulated in other forms by many others at the time. What set the Nazi (and Hitler) apart was their proposed solutions and their form of organization, not their predictions, diagnostics, or whatever. In other words, OP is just being impressed by old news because he lacks perspective, as I said.
We like to imagine we're so modern that anyone still barely relevant in our times must have been a prophet in his. The truth is that we're dealing with the same stuff in roughly the same form since 200 years.

Note that there is nothing about Nazis being stupid in the above. It's more about the commonplace character of the memes they were dealing in. Commonplace as in opposed to insightful or groundbreaking, not necessarily as in opposed to intelligent.

I give you the benefit of the doubt and dismiss this as careless mistake. As for your points, I mostly agree. No one is claiming Hitler was this sort of intellectual genius. He was rather a leader of charismatic force and disciplined strength who was carrying out a movement, the intellectual grounds of which were formed by other thinkers. OP is probably impressed Hitler's reformulation of other thinkers' ideas in his own words. You would be right to advise him to move on to Carl Schmitt next.
