Just grabbed this set form a second hand store. Now in all honestly I've read very little Shakespeare and when I did I wasn't paying much attention as it was in a school setting and I was basically a mouth breather.

Would reading these from front to back be a good idea or should I start with some of the more well known plays to get me invested?

Nope. Reading everything, including the lesser work, front to back is for literature students only. Pick one. Read it, with footnotes. Pause, re-read it so that the vocab sinks in. Then find a recording of a performance and watch it. Rinse and repeat. They are plays. You are meant to watch them.
