It depends on the college. The closer you are to a community college the more often you'll see opinions like that. At Northwestern it existed but sparsely. There was this one fat-positive jewish girl who screamed at me and some other guys during a discussion of race. We pissed her off saying "it's not always about color."

Anyway, it's just a few vocal crazies that post 10,000 tweets to 12 followers that make it seem like its everywhere and everyone. Your average student thinks this is retarded, but feels if they speak up it may affect their grades or they'll get harassed by the crazies. I know a few gays (including my cousin) that don't like this dogshit and don't like being grouped with trannies.

The best professors at my university were women. It was always the guy professors who spent class time talking about how bad Trump is (which I agree with unlike you Nazis, but it's not something I care about in a literature class) and telling the class how guilty they felt about the syllabus not being diverse enough.

It's incredible how glad I am to be doing a STEM degree, without any of these idiotic forced diversity classes. The cohort of people doing the course has a decent mix of people in it, and the ones who are part of minority groups and don't make a big deal of it are generally smart and get good grades, while the ones with bright hair dye and protest badges are invariably shit at the subject and keep moaning about how they should've done gender studies.
