bear with me guys..

so if my country supports the law of copyright terms (life + 50 years), does this law apply only on the authors who are born in my country or literally all authors ever?

normally it is only for the people holding a valid passport of the country, but countries have made international rules, especially regarding entertainment, because the secular humanism is just hedonism and panem and circuses disguised as compassion. Rules ae applied even more worldwide when they stem from the humanists in the dominating country, ie USA.

If you are in china, you can probably get away with it tho.

tell me if i'm wrong please:-
lets say for example i live in Fiji where the law is (life + 50yrs), and i want to read for Yukio Mishima (where he died in 1970)
So technically in Fiji, his work isn't public domain right? since he isn't born in Fiji and in japan the law is life + 70 years.
or did i get it wrong?

im neither from china or usa btw..

thank u for your time

My understanding is the opposite of >>16226154 since there are certain books that are unavailable in the US for example, because of the Mickey Mouse laws, but they are available elsewhere. For example, the Great Gatsby is still under copyright in the US, but not so in Australia.
