Not the anon you're responding too but I just started Là-Bas today and so far it's great. Might even be better than A rebours, we'll see. The other writers you mentioned are also great, especially d'Aurevilly, I'm also a big fan of Villiers de L'Isle-Adam, you should check him out if you like d'Aurevilly and Huysmans
