I don't know. I mainly blame translation. I know it's tough trying to make people from south of America relevant here, but translating everything as in local provincial dialect seemed to irk me a lot.

The only thing I've ever learned from "reading" these is that a lot of people have no idea how to express things pictorially. Seriously if you post more than two images in a box, even worse the last two boxes, The series reads as 'I read ____, expecting it to be a variety of things, but it was a different variety of things' The point of these is a quick joke about surprising content, not an elaborate book review expressed through a bunch of tiny jpgs. If you were trying to give an overview of all it's amazing aspects just write it; you should be better at it than normal if you're on this board. If you were just trying to say it was badass, you could have probably used just one image to indicate that.
Sorry for the rant with no content, but I've only been reading pulp sci-fi recently and those have all turned out like expected.
