How the hell do you read his book? I tried to read it, but it's way too philosophical and complex. Am I too brainlet to understand?

Did you read Hegel before?

Not really.

He is pretty verbose and the sentence structure can be haphazard, but not much worse than most authors people pretend to have read.

Since it's basically a technical book on how to operate a military, I don't think it would be an enjoyable read unless it's directly applicable to and useful in your own life. That might explain why you got filtered. I attempted Clausewitz as a part of my international relations studies in undergrad and his writing is just not what it's marketed as. If you're looking for theorizing on statecraft there are better reads

Reverse image search. I assume OP specifically means "On War."

Well I decided to read it because military theory sounds something like I'm interested in. Maybe reading Hegel would help me understand, as the other anon said.

Couldn't give a shit now.
Pretentious cunts.
(and yes, I have read Hegel, the only reason I was interested, but fuck off. fuck completely off.)

Well anon if you've read his book and done some research on it then you know who the man in the OP is making you qualified to post in this thread.

The translation you have is going to affect your experience.

People will tell you not to get the Penguin/Pelican version because it is apparently a shit abridgement, but maybe starting with the "smaller" text will help you ease into Jolles or something
