What would the scientist and philosopher John von Neumann think of GPT-3 self-learning AI right now? Would he think that we're on our path towards achieving Strong General Intelligence?

I don't think so; I think he'd be actually quite sure we would have started reaching a breaking point in AI technology right now.

You might say that we've reached a limit of what computers can achieve at this point; but honestly saying this makes us look very stupid in 5 years or so.

Who is the "girl" on the pic? She looks like the kind of tranny that would be into My Little Pony and be an agreeable sort-of-tranny that likes videogames. Back then I didn't like them all too much; but now I'm starting to think they're usually quite agreeable to be around with.

Seems like you are frustrated. You should read some books and some philosophy, friend. I'd recommend you begin with Nick Bostrom's SuperIntelligence: Dangers, Paths and Strategies in order to chill a little bit.

I'm reading the AI generated article and it's pretty convincing
It really does read like something written by a mindless liberal NPC bugman.

Wait 12 months and it'll be as good as any writer you can think of - be it James Joyce or Nabokov.
