is there any way to invent a new archetype? like I created a tomboy who has gender shifting, and she does bad things but good things too. she is sometimes both the hero and villain. she helps the villain. but then she tries to stop him. she loves the heroic guy but ends up fucking the loser. she has a mentor figure want to train her but she seduces him and convinces him to become trans. the end result is that people were utterly confused. my goal was to create a new archetype. But it didn't take off at all. It just made people angry.

well this character is always a tomboy but she can sometimes shift between boy or girl in certain settings. like she wants to become a spy so she shifts into a boy among the knights. other times she is in the ball and shifts into a girl that is so feminine all the other girls plot to destroy her. there is even a mrs doubtfire moment she has to go between boy and girl because there's two who know her already. her solution is she is so good at gender shifting she can just be there as herself, and both parties see both versions at once. they see what they want to see.
