How do you read for more than three hours a day without your eyes getting horribly fatigued and losing the ability to focus on the words?

I close one eye and read for three hours with one eye, then close that eye and read with the other eye for another three hours. Takes some time to practice it because you have to get used to it, but it works. If you're a beginner at this method, I would recommend taping your eye shut to train your eyes to stay shut for long periods of time while the other eye remains open.

Yesterday I finished a 200 pages book in one sitting. Towards the end I caught myself racing to finish a page, so I took a few breaks in order to pace and reflect a bit more on the scenes.

Ah, yeah. You see, you gotta start out with the tape. It trains your eyes. Also, did you try cycling your days? You should only do this method every other day and give your eyes the chance to rest. On the off day when you're not using the one-eye method, you should spend the entire day with your eyes closed, if you can.

Three hours is already a strong limit for most people.

Just keep reading. You'll develop more stamina in time. Find books that keep your interest and make you wanna binge them
