I would be careful about reading Advaita Vedanta interpretations such as Shankara's as a commentary to the Upanishads, they are extremely reliant on Buddhist philosophy (Shankara is called a "cryptobuddhist" by most Hindus, and most scholars agree). If you want to read the Upanishads, work through them with editions and commentaries that aren't sectarian, or at least read an interpretation that is closer to the original meaning of the Upanishads, rather than Shankara's 9th century AD quasi-buddhism.

Jannies I found this fucker. Please find out who this spam faggot is and get rid of him please. You're free to delete this thread.

He shows up on every Shankaracharya and Advaita thread spamming the same schizo shit. I don't know If he's a bit or not but he contributes nothing to the discussion...

This thread was made to bait this fucker.

Excuse me sir I am simply interested in Shankaracharya's crypto buddhist philosophy. You have no right to slander me in this way.

He punishes Guenonfag for his hubris and combats this weird meme that Advaita Vedanta is somehow the "correct" interpretation of Hinduism (despite like 99.99% of Hindus disagreeing), so he's okay in my book.

Guenonfag or others aside, I'm actually interested in what these folks believe, but can't get a good discussion without retards literally waiting for the words "Shankaracharya" and "Advaita" to come and seethe.

I get that tall hate the Guenonfag but I don't understand the salty seething towards it. It's like any other. (Personally, I've been to a Mandir and they seem to accept a mixture of Ramajuna and Shankaracharya's interpretations. They say that the former is close to the philosophy of the Brahmasutras, and the latter the philosophy of the Upanishads).
