do you guys write in notes on your book while reading? i'm too focused on the story too but i like the idea of making a book your own by covering it with you writing and someone else finding it

I doodle cursive notes in the air and pictoralize them once I'm done osmotically internalizing the text

writing something down will screw your reading experience, because you will narrow your view according to previous interpretations or ideas, instead of going with the flow of the book and its course.

tl;dr: patrician's choice is your signature on the first page, no remarks in the main text, essay on the last pages.
