If I had to guess, I'd probably say that Marx saw individual anarchism as a threat. Also, Marx probably saw Stirner as doing dirty the Hegelian view of history that Marx was into. But honestly, they were friends for a while and then fell out, so I'd guess it was really some kind of petty personal feud.
