Don't BE a writer, have it as a background hobby at least and a part-time job at most. Pretty much anyone who posts here has the intelligence and writing skills to write professionally (no shit, I mean it). You may not be Charlie Kauffman or some other Jew who gets paid millions to write Oscar winning screenplays but there's always the lit department, journalism, poetry, non-fiction; inexpensive things you could do on the side just to let off steam or contribute a little nugget of inspiration to the creatively barren wasteland that is today's media.

If you want a good laugh I recommend it. It made me laugh so much I wrote a spoof of one of her poems. It sounds really fucking pretentious (writing being for fags and all that) but I enjoyed doing that more than my shitty, immature attempts at rationalising the universe in poems that asked so many questions it was obnoxious.

Your stuff is way more focused than that, it's just annoying that my half-arsed English Literature degree doesn't help me understand what exactly what you were saying, when I suppose it's fine some things are left in ambiguity.
