i would gladly accept an AI assuming control. artifical intelligence is simply the next stage of human evolution, student becoming the teacher, etc. an artificial intelligence with the capacity for creativity and art would be the supreme human. not to mention that an ai could easily colonize the galaxy long after humans are gone, and if it "thought" in a human manner who's to say it's not human? silicon life replacing carbon
