Communism is btfo by the competitive nature of life, because it is a materialistic and universalist ideology it can not refute that material nature.

Mainly because Western chauvinism leads us to consider anyone born east of ~Czechia to be less than human. The only incidents commonly described are the ones with implication for Western hegemony or just general security, such as the Cuban missile crisis, Chernobyl incident and of course moments of triumph for liberalism like the fall of the Berlin wall.

The realisation that people are NOT fundamentally good, which means that in any cooperation-dependent collective, deviants and exploiters will arise. This necessitates the use of police force to enforce goodthink in a communist state, making communism a de facto totalitarian regime.

intuitive thinking tends to make people complacent and unsophisticated.

intuition tends to overwhelm concepts like nuance and critical thought. why think about stuff when your gut feeling tells you it's just bad. and that gut feeling comes from a book or a propaganda piece.

Moral arguments are not totally invalid, so long as you can get people to agree with you.
The notion of reducing human suffering in any capacity relies on the subjective belief that human suffering is even a bad thing to begin with.

many people either don't know the terms they are talking about or even the basic definitions of certain political ideologies. or they just don't care about having a spirited intellectual debate in the first place, some people can only be convinced through emotion or moral appeals, while others can only be appealed through good debate technique and reasonable well articulated points.

one is not superior to the other in terms of effectiveness. if it works it works.

Let me rephrase: I have realised that people hurt others for fun, exploit and cause suffering whenever they can get away with it. This has to do with the animalistic aspects of the human psyche, has nothing to do with ethics and can be only partially influenced by the environment. Troublemakers are unavoidable, bad apples tend to spoil the bunch, making the dream of the communist utopia impossible.

Ridiculous bait.

As an ignorant christian conservative, I was raised to loath and fear the Soviets as some sort of evil nation. I never fully understand anything about it. Only much later did I get the full story and definitions for all these -isms. This take some maturity. So after reading GA one doesn’t exactly grow out of communism, they grown out of Leninism, and other authoritarian-socialist experiments.
The fully mature individual grows up past even Chomsky. and finds James Herod
